When it comes to automobile shipping, you have two options.
You can ship your vehicle in a container or ship via RoRo.
- RoRo vessel
RORO is short “roll on, roll off”. This is simplest and cheapest method by which vehicles are loaded onto large ocean shipping vessels for transport overseas. Dock workers will then for “drive your vehicle onto the ship and strap it down to make it ready for sailing.
- Container vessel
Container shipping for transporting your vehicle provides the safest means of transportation to overseas destination. The vehicles are loaded inside the shipping container. Shipping single cars in containers has a higher probability of reaching the destination without damages during the transportation.
